The administrative work for Boulder Badminton Club related to the handling of shuttle fees with expirations / renewals every month has been significant. Also, the cost for high altitude feather shuttles and our annual club insurance premium has gone up. In order to reduce the amount of time spent dealing with shuttle fees, and to adjust for the increase in cost for shuttles and insurance premium, the following changes will be made, effective January 1st, 2017.

The Quarter Year shuttle fee option has been removed

Existing BBC members can choose between a Half Year option (expires on June 30) or the Full Year option (expires on December 31)

The shuttle fee basis is $12 per month with a reduced rate when choosing the Full Year option

In a one-time offer in January 2017 we will be sending out individual emails to allow players with expiration dates of December 31, 2016, or non-expired shuttle fees to align to either June 30 or December 31 expiration dates at a discounted rate

First-time visitors are still free of charge, but are required to fill out an updated ‘New Player Sign Up Form’ that documents the date of the first visit

New players that are joining us during the year are required to pay the pro-rated fee per month either with an expiration date of June 30 or December 31

The Drop-in fee ($5, cash only) applies to all Guests that are not First-time visitors

Kids under the age of 12 years are free of charge and will get a kids name peg
